I learned the names of all the people that make my life easier and address them by name when I say hello (the shuttle drivers, the baristas, the maintenance personnel).
these guys spend so much time serving others as a job that i think they sometimes forget that its service, and the recipients forget to acknowledge their kindness. sometimes all its takes is learning their names to make a huge difference.
